How We Act

Six Key Initiatives.

These are the field programs we operate today — each one designed to interlock with the others, addressing animal welfare, public health, and community renewal as a single project.

№ 01

Closing the Lots

Closing 500 Dog Lots

We're committed to eliminating unsafe dog lots across Peru, ensuring a better future for countless animals. Over 500 claustrophobic lots cram up to 110 dogs in spaces meant for a mere dozen — tales of hunger, untreated injuries, and neglect. Our mission is to stop the cruelty.

№ 02

Public Health

Zoonotic Disease Prevention

By expanding early-warning indicators we tackle zoonotic diseases like rabies — safeguarding both animals and the communities they live beside. The illegal bushmeat trade is a primary driver and a direct threat to the people we serve.

№ 03

Community

Community Revitalization

Our work extends beyond animal welfare to the revitalization of local neighborhoods. By converting slum areas into safe, affordable, peaceful blocks we create brighter futures where families and their furry friends can thrive together.

№ 04

Sanctuary

Animal Sanctuary

Establishing Peru's first Animal Sanctuary to end the cruel confinement of animals in dog lots within five years. The sanctuary is designed to provide for 500 dogs and 300 cats — ensuring their well-being and a healthier future.

№ 05

Veterinary Care

Full-Service Veterinary Hospital

We established a Veterinary Hospital in Peru where the well-being of pets comes before financial gains. Our clinic provides top-notch care for animals in need — every pet receives the love, attention, and treatment they deserve.

№ 06

Field Operations

Rescue & Rehabilitation

We provide a lifeline to countless animals suffering in overcrowded, unsanitary conditions, rescuing them directly. Simultaneously, we offer exceptional daily care, comfortable housing, and critical medical treatment.

The Wet Markets

A public health emergency.

The illegal bushmeat trade is a primary driver for the spread of zoonotic diseases and a direct threat to the communities we serve. This isn't just about animal cruelty — this is a public health emergency.

Our team fights on the ground every day to combat the illegal wildlife trade, rescue animals from inhumane conditions, and educate communities about the connection between animal welfare and human health.
